We aim to share our stories to encourage children to judge nobody by their
appearance, as it is what is on the inside that counts. Our books teach
children the value of kindness, respect and acceptance.
Kathy Jardine has spent many years selflessly working with special
needs children. Throughout those years, Kathy was inspired by those
same children to write and share her stories. She values how special
each and every child in the world is and spreading that message has
become very important to her.
Ashley Jardine, Kathy's daughter, is inspired by her mother's passion for
children. After Kathy developed the idea for the Durples, Ashley was
inspired by the importance of Kathy’s message and dedicated herself to
helping the book come to life.
