"I am a teacher of a grade 1 & 2 class in Australia. Our
class is made up of several different races and cultures.
The students were finding it difficult to talk about how
they were all different and didn’t understand that they are
actually all the same underneath. As a class we read your
wonderful book ‘The Durples’. The class discussions about
your book were wonderful as the students were all able to
identify their differences such as colour of their skin or
something as simple as their eye colour. A fantastic book,
and we would love to read your next one!"
